あけましておめでとうございます。
今年は新年をバンクーバーで迎えました。
年越しは、バンクーバーではカウントダウンイベントがなく、残念。
みんなクラブのパーティに乗り出すようです。
私は友達の家で、韓国鍋を食べて、ゲームをしたり、テレビでニューヨークとシアトルのカウントダウンの中継を見て過ごしました。
この時ばかりは、日本が恋しくなったなぁ。。。
私の部屋には鏡餅と親戚からもらった寅のお飾りを飾って、お雑煮も作って食べて、少しは日本の正月を味わってます。
あいかわらず、のんびりと更新している私のブログですが、今年もいい写真を撮ってアップしていきたいと思います。

What's the Canadian style?
- Backpack on their back. (Well, not everyone.)
- One hand is for holding a cup of coffee. ( 70% of coffee are from Tim Hortons)
- The other hand is for holding Metro - the free news paper.
- They love "Double double" taste of coffee. ( double sugar & double milk)
- "Eh"
- They love cycling. (Bringing their bicycle into a subway or a bus is very common.)
Those are what I found in Toronto.
And I'm following their style, only first 3 steps, backpack, coffee and metro.
"double double" taste is a big step for me... (toooo sweet!!)

Toronto doesn't have an ocean, but Ontario Lake!
Woodbine beach is one of the biggest, popular beach in Toronto.
People enjoy lying & tanning there, playing volleyball, cycling, running, walking, chatting, and taking pictures like me.
Some of them were swimming like this picture. But the lake's water is pretty cold!
